Terms of Service

Welcome to Life Planner! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Life Planner mobile application (the "App"), the website located at lifeplanner.app (the "Site"), and any related services, content, and database features operated by Rapheal Kwabena (collectively, the "Service").

Please read these Terms carefully before creating an account or using the Service. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

1. User Account Registration and Security

To access most features of the Service, you must register for an account using a valid email address and password. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of your account password and login credentials.
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access, security breach, or suspected compromise of your account credentials.

We are not liable for any losses or damages caused by your failure to maintain account security.

2. License Grant and Permitted Use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable, limited license to download, install, and use the App and Service on compatible mobile devices for your personal, non-commercial productivity management. You may not:

• Modify, copy, adapt, decompile, reverse engineer, or extract the source code of the Service.
• Use the Service to build a competitive product or service.
• Bypass, disable, or circumvent any technical protection or security measures within the App or Service.
• Rent, lease, lend, sell, or redistribute the App.

3. Collaborative Workspaces and User Generated Content (UGC)

Life Planner features collaborative groups ("Group Workspaces") where users can interact, create group tasks, assign tasks, and write comments. Any text, information, comments, or attachments posted by users in Group Workspaces constitutes User Generated Content ("UGC").

• UGC Rules: You retain ownership of your UGC. However, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to store, transmit, and render your UGC within your designated Group Workspaces solely to provide the Service.
• Prohibited Content: You represent and warrant that you will not post, share, or submit any UGC that:
  • Is unlawful, defamatory, libelous, harassing, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, or obscene.
  • Infringes upon any copyright, trademark, patent, or intellectual property rights of others.
  • Promotes discrimination, bigotry, racism, hatred, or physical harm against any group or individual.
  • Contains malware, viruses, phishing links, or unauthorized promotional content.
• Content Moderation & Enforcement: We do not actively pre-screen all UGC. However, we reserve the right (but have no obligation) to monitor, review, edit, or delete UGC at our sole discretion if we deem it violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.
• Reporting Abuse: Users may report inappropriate UGC, abusive comments, or policy violations within a group workspace by emailing our support desk at lifeplannerapplication@gmail.com. We will investigate reports and take appropriate action within a reasonable timeframe.

4. Abuse, Suspension, and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, restrict your access to the Service, or disband your Group Workspaces immediately, without prior notice or liability, at our sole discretion, including but not limited to cases where:

• You violate or breach any provision of these Terms or the Privacy Policy.
• You engage in abusive, harassing, or hostile behavior towards other users or Service administrators.
• Your account activity poses a security risk to the Service or other users.
• We are required to do so to comply with law enforcement or legal processes.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time via the in-app deletion tool (Profile -> Account -> Delete Account).

5. Proprietary Rights

The App, Site, source code, visual design, custom UI components, branding, logos, trademarks, and documentation are the exclusive property of Rapheal Kwabena. They are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership rights in the Service.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. RAPHEAL KWABENA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ACCURATE, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL RAPHEAL KWABENA BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and your relationship with Life Planner shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the developer's primary jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms shall be instituted exclusively in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
